Vibratory brush conveyors are an efficient alternative for automated sheet handling with low material and technical expenditure. Inclined, vertically vibrating fibre surfaces enable flexible transport routes with integrated functionality. However, the interrelationships are not sufficiently known for practical use. In this paper, the conveying process on a vibratory brush conveyor is analysed. The results enable characterisation of motion sequences and dependencies of the conveying speed. Furthermore, the conveying efficiency is considered.Downloads
