Abstract

This paper examines the vibration emissions of Mecanum wheels used in automated guided vehicles for intralogistics. Using the vehicle O³dyn, it is investi-gated how design changes of the vehicle affect the transport loads on the load. The vibrations registered by O³dyn are also compared to those of established means of transport such as pallet trucks, forklifts and trucks. Finally, a statement on the effects of the vibra-tions generated by the Mecanum wheels on the load is formulated based on this comparison.
