Neue Ansätze des Condition Monitoring von Kettentrieben

Abstract

Condition Monitoring of chain drives allows maintenance planning without a general lifetime equation for this machine component. Two concepts for camera-based evaluation of the wear state are presented, that quantify the increasing span oscillation due to advanced wear. Next to that, a concept for a contactless elongation sensor is presented, that measures the chain elongation directly during operation.
