Abstract

This contribution shows the development of a new Knowledge-based Engineering method addressing the specifics and boundary conditions of the planning of intralogistic systems. By the use of this methodology the possibility arises to efficiently plan and design in-tralogistic systems using a broad information base, thus making technical information accessible in an early phase of the planning process. In the end of this contribution prototypical implementations of the method are introduced, showing a web based system enabling the planning of an intralogistic system within a three dimensional environment.
