The progressive automatization and the development to fully automated production and logistic systems require innovative and plain system, that can be easily integrated in process chains. An important section of this automatization is the gripping technology which gain importance especially for warehousing, food handling and collaborative robotics. Special requirements for these gripping systems are the picking performance, the reliability and the flexibility. Present gripping systems are typically designed for a special product range and cannot be used for different products. Gripper that can handle a broader product range are relatively expensive because of their complex mechanical design. The “soft robotic” with their flexible structures provides high potentials. These grippers are also suitable for human machine cooperation, service robotic and other applications. This paper is a survey about the development of modular gipping system, which consists of elastic fluid actuators. It is designed according to the special demands of warehousing and logistic.Downloads
