The use of energy efficient systems has nowadays an increasing impact in the development, planning and implementation phase of projects. To forecast the energy demand of automated intralogistics systems, different approaches are currently available. In this article, the evaluation of calculation methods is described and analyzed based on empirical data using the example of stacker cranes. Finally, different research theories based on the analytical results of the evaluation process are developed and investigated.Downloads
