Dynamic lateral safety is a major aspect in operation of a counterbalanced forklift. Lateral stability is mainly effected by the position of the mass center, geometry of the forklift and its tire characteristics. A new mathematical model of super elastic tires leads to more accurate multibody simulation, deeper understanding of dynamic behavior fork lifts and therefore to better dynamic stability.Downloads
