Abstract

High-modulus fibre ropes offer a variety of advantages for the user. These advantages can be used in machines of the logistics sector such as storage and retrieval (S/R) machines. To determine possible applications the Institute for mechanical handling and logistics (IFT) performed several research projects in the field of running high-modulus fibre ropes and end connection.
