Abstract

Performance availability has become a topic of interest in research as well as industrial application in the recent years. Any theoretical concept in the area of logistics has to aim at the building of foundations for practical application. In order to close the gap between the mentioned parties the proposed paper describes the needs of the planning and operating party of an intra-logistics system. Consequently, a theoretical concept for the forecasting of performance availability is described to answer the existing demand.
