Leistungsverfügbarkeit und Echtzeitfähigkeit in Systemen intelligenter Ladungsträger

Abstract

This article proposes a concept for the design of storage systems including intelligent containers. The real-time capability of such a system is analyzed with a realistic case study. Based on the analysis, a concept for designing a storage system with a specific performance availability is presented. The concept is built upon a communications strategy which reserves logic time slots on the physical transportation devices. Using this reservation strategy, a feasible start time for all orders can be calculated in such a way that no order will miss its deadline.
