Abstract

To ensure a fast and flexible adaptation in terms of changing requirements, the part-feeding in production processes has to be organized more flexible. This allows an improvement of logistic goals in dynamic production environments. The paper presents a concept for adaptive part-feeding in flexible production systems using an agent-based transport control system. Planning and control of internal transport processes is brought into focus. In addition to direct transport relations to supply production systems with material, the dynamic pickup and delivery problem is considered. The concept is adjusted to requirements of self-organizing production processes.
