Abstract

The following abstract deals with the development of metal reinforced plastic slide chains with integrated sensor systems. The research focuses on the material behavior and adhesion between metal and plastics, adaption of micro electric devices on single chain links, large scale production for hybrid and lightweight parts as well as the formulation of design principles and logistics concepts for manufacturing of lightweight devices with merged processes.
