Abstract

Abstract: Influences of errors that lead to slip and wear on small scale transport systems are known, but have jet not been studied. New areas of responsibility are steadily opened up. Therefore the requirements for automated guided vehicle systems (AGVs) increase rapidly. To be able to study the influences of errors and to analyze the error’s sources a test rig was developed. The objective described in the paper is an experimental setup that allows studying single trips as well as formation trips. Vehicle parameters and steering systems of the vehicle can be varied.
