Abstract

Computer aided systems for designing and generating logistic systems are due to the complexity of the task very difficult to build. The existing planning and control models for inhouse logistic systems are not ful-filling the modern requirements on coping with the complexity, speed of reaction and flexibility. – The use of multi agent systems is one innovative approach to fulfil those requirements. Because of their decentralized and modular characteristic, they are very useful for solving ill-structured and complex problems. Furthermore, these intelligent computer aided systems make an easy and effortless use possible.
