Abstract

A novel approach for the internal transport of goods in form of a rail-bound high speed conveyor system is presented. For cost reduction, a rail made of commercially available rolled steel girders was developed, however, this causes significant deviations in track gauge over the length of the route. The constructive implementation of an adaptive running gear to compensate these fluctuations is presented in this paper.
