Autonomous transport vehicles (ATVs) are considered to be state of the art in modern companies. The most common form of such systems represent Guided Systems. Due to decades of development and use, such systems are considered proven and robust. Because of their limited abilities regarding reacting to their environment, they are considered to be inflexible. For this reason a foresighted system has been developed at the Institute of Mechanical Handling and Logistics Systems (IFL), which is able to analyze its environment and react to it.Downloads
