Performance availability measures the degree of fulfillment of defined requirements by a material handing system. In order to guarantee performance in case of changing transport scenarios or local failures systems must provide a high robustness. This paper describes an approach for assessing robust¬ness of such systems, especially for different stages of the design phase. Thus, it can be used to design systems with a higher robustness providing the ability to plan for performance availability.Downloads
