Abstract

The complexity of cellular facility logistics systems and their control architectures suggests the usage of modern simulation and VR-techniques to evaluate a system’s performance and its guaranteed future beforehand. In this paper, we present a concept for a simulation system for the VR-based verification of control architectures of cellular facility logistics systems. We describe the creation of a simulation model and give an overview over the constituents of the simulation, especially the coupling of the real control architecture of the agent based system to the simulation.
