Abstract

Teleoperation is typically used as a fallback mecha-nism, rather than a formal deadlock resolution strategy. As such, the performance metrics used to evaluate deadlock resolution strategies are not measured during teleoperation, which does not al-low us to compare the effectiveness of teleoperation relative to other strategies. This study aims to fill this research gap by identifying the common per-formance metrics between current deadlock resolu-tion strategies and the teleoperation strategy.
